Veterans Managing PTSD new approach

PTSD, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, is a major crisis faced by many military veterans after and sometimes during deployment, as a result of a traumatic event , which results in many symptoms varying from, psychological depression, physical and mental distress, changes in mental and physical behavior, along with traumatic sleep changes. This sparks a series of conducts that threatens the coexistence of veterans and civilians as they manage to adapt in the society after deployment given a series of latest events, involving veterans engaged in mass shootings of civilians back home. Beyond conventional approach by various organizations and support groups, thousands of veterans are still homeless and many still battle a mental war with PTSD. What is the way forward ?
