A 54-year-old Estate agent, Femi Adewumi and two others, were Friday arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate Court, for allegedly obtaining the sum of N168million, under false pretence of selling a land.
The other defendants, are Bamiji Taiwo 34, and Tobi Ajibola 33.
They were arraigned, before Magistrate Eniola Fabamwo and they are facing eight-count charge, bordering on conspiracy, forgery, obtaining and fraud, preferred against them by the police.
The prosecutor, ASP Barth Nwaokoye, said that the defendants and others at large, committed the alleged offences between 2012 and 2013, at 15BB, Roxton Road Ikoyi Lagos.
Nwaokoye, told the court that the defendants with intent to defraud, made fake documents titled Deed of Assignments, made between Oyetubo Joko Tade Estate Resources Ltd and Kingsley Agbogun dated November 2, 2011 and addressed to the Managing Director CMB Building Maintenance and Investment Limited.
