Chelsea have loaned Spanish midfielder Oriol Romieu to German club VFB Stuttgart for the whole of the 2014/15 season.
Romeu, 22, featured for La Liga side Valencia in the whole of last season.
He signed a new three-year deal with Chelsea on July 17, 2013.
The midfielder first arrived at Stamford Bridge from Barcelona in the summer of 2011 and has made 33 appearances for the club.

The 2012/13 season should have been Romeu’s break-through season at Chelsea following the departure of Yossi Benayoun, Michael Essien and Raul Meireles, but a knee injury hampered his progress.
