Speaker of the House of Representative and governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Sokoto State, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has urged Nigerians to shun violence during Saturday’s Presidential and National assembly elections.
While urging voters to go out en masse to cast their votes, the speaker said all supporters of the party should conduct themselves peacefully and resist any act of deliberate provocations during and after the election.
Speaking at his residence in Sokoto on Friday, Tambuwal also urged the electorate to monitor their votes, saying they can stay back at the polling units where they are to vote to ensure their votes are counted.
The APC flag bearer also promised to build on the achievements of outgoing Gov. Aliyu Wamakko, if elected governor of the state come April 11, 2015.
