Legendary boxing promoter Don King is recovering from kidney surgery, TMZ Sports has learned.
The 83-year-old went through the knife last week after doctors located several kidney stones in his body.
A representative for the World Boxing Commission confirmed King was hospitalized, but gave no further details.
Although the reason for the surgery is still sketchy, but the surgery was reportedly successful and King is said to be recovering in the hospital.

He was recently out in public to speak at an event at Howard University on March 28th and seemed fine. Words are yet to surface from King’s family so far.
