Nigeria’s senior women’s national team will begin their pre-World Cup training tour on 19 May in Toronto, Canada.
AfricanFootball.com has gathered from a spokesperson of the Super Falcons that the team will embark on a training tour of Canada before the start of this year’s World Cup on 6 June.
Nigeria will play their first two group stage matches against Sweden and Australia in Winnipeg before moving to Vancouver to face the USA.
The team are in the meantime preparing for a 2016 Olympic qualifier against Mali at home on 9 May.
The Super Falcons routed the same Malian counterpart 9-1 in the final qualification round of Women’s Football Tournament of the 2015 All-Africa Games in Congo Brazzaville.
