Nigeria international Ikechukwu Uche was among the goals as Villarreal and Getafe shared the spoils in a 1-1 away draw on Sunday.
Uche broke the deadlock in the 52nd minute, but Diego Castro leveled for hosts Getafe four minutes after the hour mark.
Villareal are sixth in the Spanish La Liga table with 52 points from 32 games.
Uche has now scored six league goals this season.
