Both clubs have now confirmed the 21-year-old will feature for the Rosoneri for the rest of the season.
Having rose through the youth ranks at Vitese, Van Ginkel made his senior debut at the age of 17 and went on to score 18 goals in 93 Eredvisie matches.
He represented the Netherlands at the U-19 and U-20 levels and made his full international debut against Germany in November 2012.
