Bayelsa United snatched a 0-0 draw at AS Kondzo in a CAF Confederation Cup tie on Friday.
The 2012/13 third-placed Glo Premier League side arrived late in Brazzaville due to a delay in the release of funds for the trip.
They succeeded in ending the away tie in a goalless stalemate despite having arrived Congo just on Thursday afternoon.

The return leg match is slated for Sapele in a week’s time with the overall winners advancing to the second round of the second-tier continental club competition.
Bayelsa reached the semi-final of the competition in 2009.
