The state Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, while confirming the incident, said the explosion took place at about 9:50 p.m yesterday at a brothel located in the Bayangari area and the injured were taken to the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Teaching Hospital, Bauchi, for treatment.
He also said all the ten corpses have been deposited at the Mortuary.
“The entire surrounding has been cordoned and scene secure. No arrest has been made yet and investigation has commenced to ascertain the cause”, the police spokesman said in a statement late Friday evening.
The explosion is coming barely 72-hours after the bomb explosion that rocked the nation’s capital on Wednesday.
No group has claimed responsibility for the Bauchi explosion yet.
