Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger says a win over Chelsea later this month might prove of little significance in the Premier League title run-in.
The Gunners defeated Burnley 1-0 on Saturday to move to within four points of the leaders, who they will host in their next league match on 26 April.
The Frenchman told Sky Sports: “I don’t think that our game against Chelsea will decide the Premier League title, they have two games in hand, but we have to just keep going.
“We will need a perfect run and a non-perfect run from them.”
Chelsea are away to relegation threatened Queens Park Rangers on Sunday and host Manchester United next weekend.
Arsenal will be spared of league duty next weekend in lieu of their FA Cup semi-final clash with Reading at Wembley stadium on Saturday.
Aaron Ramsey’s early strike made the difference at Turf Moor and the 65-year-old admitted his side were made to work hard for victory.

“It was a battling performance. I would put that down to the quality of Burnley, they are perfectly organised and very fit to maintain their pressing for 90 minutes,” he said.
“I would congratulate their manager (Sean Dyche) and say they deserve to stay in the League. The whole game they made life difficult for us.”
Arsenal have now won eight matches in a row in the English top flight for the first time since March 2004- the only team to reach the landmark this season.
He added: “We just have to keep going. We cannot master Chelsea’s result, only our own. We want to keep winning of course because we have to look behind us as well.
“We have promised ourselves to do as well as we can until the end and we will see where we stand.”
They lead Manchester United and Manchester City by four and five points respectively, with both city rivals facing each other on Sunday.
The battle for a top four finish and an 18th consecutive Uefa Champions League qualification has began seeing the light of the day at the north London outfit, but Wenger is yet wary of complacency.
“I want to make sure we give absolutely everything to finish the season in a strong way, then we will see where we stand,” Wenger said.
“There is a good attitude in the team and great quality too. I see it as a challenge for us not to forget how much it hurts to lose a game and keep focusing on winning the next one.”
