A Lagos landlord 23-year-old son, Lukman Alausa, was yesterday arraigned before an Igbosere magistrate’s court for allegedly pouring faeces in a tenant’s apartment.
The accused who happens to be a bricklayer, who resides at 13, Adebowale Road, Epe was said to have committed the offence at 7.30 a.m on April 23 at his apartment.
The prosecutor, Cpl. Babaje Ishiaku told the court that the accused conducted himself in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace by chasing one Ms Jennifer Ani, his father’s tenant, with a machete during an altercation.
He alleged that the accused polluted the premises by emptying a bucket of faeces at Ani’s doorstep and passage.
Lukman who is facing a two-count charge of disorderly conduct and perpetuating harmful acts is likely to be sentenced to three years imprisonment if convicted.
The accused, however, denied the charges against him. The Magistrate, Miss Oluwatosin Fowowe, granted the accused bail in the sum of N20,000 with a surety in like sum.
The case was adjourned till May 15 for trial.
