Dele Alampasu Undergoes Knee Surgery- Report

Super Eagles Team B third-choice goalkeeper to the 2013 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Dele Alampasu has reportedly undergone a knee surgery in Belgium and could be sidelined for several weeks.


A source close to the Fifa U-17 World Cup-winning goalie told AfricanFootball.com Alampasu is back in Nigeria and rehabilitating from an injury he sustained in a training session while “on trials at Belgium outfit FC Genk”.

The 18-=year-old goal-tender had an operation on the leg and could be ruled out of action for about five weeks or thereabout, according to the doctor.


“That explains why he has not been involved with the Flying Eagles training camp in Abuja ahead of next month’s AYC qualifier in Tanzania,” the source is quoted as saying on AfricanFootball.com
