Petr Cech, John Terry, Eden Hazard and Samuel Eto’O all trained at Chelsea’s Cobham training facility, ahead of Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final second round tie with Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea goalkeeper Cech who suffered a dislocated shoulder in the first leg, has even told Sky Sports he is fit for the must win encounter against the La Liga leaders at Stamford Bridge.
The Czech republic goalkeeper was ruled out for the rest of the season by Portuguese boss Jose Mourinho in the wake of his injury during last week’s stalemate at the Estadio Vicente Calderon. He missed Sunday’s 2-0 win over Premier League leaders Liverpool at Anfield, with 41-year-old Mark Schwarzer standing in for him.
However, Cech’s Australia international understudy is set to continue in goal for the ‘Blues’, as the 31-year-old reportedly sat out the intensive goalkeeper training on Tuesday morning.
The other trio of outfield players were at ease during the training session.
Mourinho had after last week’s first leg away draw ruled Terry and Cech out for the remainder of the league season.
Hazard, who has not featured since Chelsea’s 3-1 loss at Paris St-Germain, was moving freely.
Cameroon international, Samuel Eto’O, 33, could return to lead Chelsea’s attack tomorrow.
