Briton Raises $900 To Amputate Pet Turtle’s man-hood

A British man has raised more than $900 online to pay for the amputation of his turtle’s man-hood.

Miles Jelfs said on the crowd-funding website GoFundMe.com that he recently got the turtle named Cedric and realized it had suffered a “prolapsed of the colaca (basically his willy).”

The cost of the surgery was too steep for Jelfs’ budget so he turned to the Internet for help.

He said the surgery could extend the four-year-old turtle’s life to 90-plus years.

Jelfs has raised enough for the surgery, which will cost about $650, but first must fatten up Cedric because the turtle is too thin and anemic for surgery.

Cedric will be given supplements and with “an intense shakeup in his diet and care with the hope he will be fit for the operation in the next three to four weeks,” Jelfs said.

Any money left over will be given to charity, Jelfs said.
