Paul Scholes has returned to assist Manchester United’s team as Ryan Giggs begins his first full day as interim manager.
Scholes opted against taking up a full-time position under David Moyes, who was sacked on Tuesday, as he wanted to spend more time with his family.
But with long time friend Giggs now in charge and fellow Class of 92 member Nicky b*tt and Phil Neville assisting, the 39-year-old has now stepped back in, in a bid to help out.
United revealed on their Twitter page Scholes was back at the club’s Aon training facility on Wednesday.

Earlier this season, the midfielder, who finally called time on his illustrious career after winning his 11th Premier League winners’ medal, joined b*tt as coach for United’s under-19 squad in the UefaYouth League.
He remains third in then all-time United list of record appearances, having played in 718 games for the club, trailing only Giggs and Sir Bobby Charlton. He was part of the Champions League-wining squads, although missed the 1998 Barcelona finals through suspension. Scholes lifted the FA Cup on three different occasions.
