Cavani Found Solution at PSG and is Fine in Paris

Edinson Cavani has said his worrying times at Paris St-Germain is dead and gone and insists he is happy playing for the Ligue 1 champions.

The Uruguay striker fueled speculation he could leave the capital club having voiced his frustration about not getting regular playing time last season.

Cavani, 27, has become a more regular feature for PSG this season, and coupled with injury to Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, has led the Parisian’s attack.

“This year everything is fine,” he told Uruguayan radio station AM1010. “I am in Paris, the city is beautiful and the club supports me.”

Cavani has scored four goals in ten league appearances and twice in the European Champions League, where Laurent Blanc’s side top Group F and could qualify for the round of 16 with a win over APOEL Nicosia next Wednesday.

Regarding his earlier complaints, he remarked: “This comments caused some problems, but they were not against the coach, the president or anyone else. I expressed my frustration, but that didn’t mean I had a bad relationship with any of them.

“Sometimes these things can lead to a problem, but other times to a solution. We found a solution.”
