Super 4: Dream Team VI versus Enyimba End a Goal Apiece

Nigeria Under-23 internationals came back from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Enyimba o Match Day 4 of the 2014 Glo Premier League Super 4.


The draw means the Olympic Team now have eight points and are unbeaten in 4 matches, while Enyimba have seven points.


The Federation Cup and Super Cup holders pressed high up right from the blast of the refertee’s kickoff whistle and Idris Aloma almost opened scoring in the second minute but his effort from 19 yards struck the upright.


Six minutes later Under-23 wing-back Chris Madaki’s long-range effort was easily gathered by Ocheje. Ocheje then recovered brilliantly to beat Austin Amutu to a cross in the 15th minute.


Enyimba pulled ahead 3 minutes after the half-hour mark, when Andrew Abalogu poked home Ebenezer Adeyemi’s pass.


Dream Team brought the game back on level term in the 56th minute as Jonathan Osondu pounced on a loose ball to slot in an equaliser after Enyimba goalkeeper Moses Ocheje spilled a back pass.


Enyimba ended the match with ten men as Ifeanyi Anaemena saw red following an off-the-ball incident in the 82nd minute.
