30 Players Invited For Flying Eagles Trials

Coach Manu Garba has called up 30 players for a screening camp ahead of next year’s African Youth Championship in Senegal.


Majority of the squad from the qualifying series for the 2015 AYC billed for Senegal dominates the list of invitees while Enyimba International midfielder Kingsley Sokari and Tony Edjomariegwe of Nasarawa United headlines Glo Premier League stars in contention.


Jakob Njoku, who plays for Portuguese club FC Porto, is the only foreign-based player invited.


The Flying Eagles resume training at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Sunday. According to secretary of the team, Ibrahim Auwal Aliyu Ibrahim, the players are to report at the African Continental Hotel on Sokoto Road in Kaduna from Sunday.
